Treat yourself to an intimate weekend away on our Thala Beach Body Soul Rainforest Escape. The retreat will take place on a private property and nature reserve in the secluded forests north of Cairns, with access to a beautiful private beach. The natural setting is the perfect background for the body and soul to unwind and replenish.

Accommodation is at Thala Beach Nature Reserve in exotic eco-bungalows surrounded by native forest with some vistas stretching out into the Coral Sea. Wake up to the sound of birds singing and prepare for the day of self care, yoga and  nurture.

Through the practice of yoga, pranayama and meditation find the moment of stillness within your body, your breath and your mind and take that moment of balance into everyday experiences in the busy world.

Day 1
October 22nd 2021 
Welcome to our Thala Beach Body Soul Rainforest Escape.
Arrive and check in at Thala Beach Nature Reserve (Check in from 2pm).
For those interested we can arrange a walking tour on the property or simply relax and enjoy the serenity.
From 4 – 6pm we start with a flow yoga class combined with breathing exercises and meditation.
7pm. Dinner in the resort restaurant. Time to get to know each other and exchange experiences of the day.

Day 2:
October 23rd 2021
7 – 8.30am we start the day with energetic flow yoga and meditation.
Breakfast.
10.30am – 1pm enjoy an informative session with David Peirce, Cairns-based naturopath.
Break for lunch.
At 2.30pm we leave for our Southeast Asian inspired cooking class that commences at 3pm. This is followed by dinner.
We will conclude the day with a half hour session including breathing/relaxation work.

Day 3
October 24th 2021
The last morning of our Thala Beach yoga retreat begins early with gentle flow yoga and meditation from 7 – 8.30am.
Check out after breakfast and enjoy free time on the beautiful property before we say good bye. Relax by the pool, take a nature walk or take a walk to the beach

Price includes:
2 nights accommodation at Thala Beach in Jungle Walk bungalow (Twin-share basis)
Meals: 2 x breakfast, 1 x lunch, 2 x dinner
Daily yoga, breathing and meditation sessions
Exclusive, informative session with David Pearce, Naturopath
Interactive Asian-style cooking class
Organisation and coordination

Price does not include:
Transport to/ from Thala Beach Nature Reserve (car pooling may be an option)

Through the practice of yoga, pranayama and meditation find the moment of stillness within your body, your breath and your mind and take that moment of balance into everyday experiences in the busy world.

The perfect setting of our Thala Beach Yoga Retreat will allow for plenty of downtime, long walks on the beach, a swim in the ocean or one of the pools to bask in the natural beauty and integrate the inner work.

In addition to the daily yoga and meditation you will have an interactive and informative session with a local well-known Cairns naturopath. With years of experience in natural medicine and nutrition you will learn about the influence the right diet has on your body’s ability to heal itself.

With this in mind we will take part in a Southeast Asian-style cooking class. Learn how to make a selection of Asian-inspired dishes, under the watchful eye of a professional chef, where your culinary skills will be enhanced and your taste buds satisfied with what you create.
