People, Plates & Places take the people and the plates to the places where the food is grown.
By bringing together local producers, local ingredients and local chefs, we create a remarkable and uncompromisingly high-quality five and six course meals with outstanding matching wines. Featuring fresh local ingredients, such as gourmet tomatoes, grass-fed beef and organic free range chicken, we bring our plates to the places where the food is grown… be it a farm, garden, mountain range or winery.
We set up our Restaurant Without Walls and serve 5 or 6 courses with paired wines for up to 190 people in a unique setting. At the reception you will hear from our host farmers about their journey and the challenges they face to put food on our table. We take everything into the middle of the paddock. Kitchen, water, generator, cold room, crockery, cutlery, glassware, tables, chairs, tablecloths, napkins and portaloos. We are self-sufficient and when we leave, we leave no footprint on the earth. We minimize waste by either taking the vegetable scraps to the chickens or compost them.
